Italian based ERC Sun Spirits have confirmed a consultancy agreement with JES Travel Retail to launch the Sao Can and Ron Cubay rum brands into global travel retail. The agreement includes working closely with travel retail consultancy offices in Europe, The Americas and the Middle East with discussions connected to Asia in place.
ERC Sun Spirits, located at Lake Garda Trentino, brings 25 years experience within their sector and have a presence in Cuba since 1996 through partnership with Corporación Cuba Ron S.A., an organisation founded in 1993 and which owns the main and oldest “Roneras” in addition to having a team of highly skilled master distillers.
The 2 brands, which both hold the prestigious DOP (Denominación de Origen Protegida, “Protected Designation of Origin)creditation includes multi lingual labelling synergy with travel retail and supplied inclusive of gifting packaging. A range of 5 core San Can lines plus 3 mixology products and 6 Ron Cubay lines with 4 mixology products will be available with travel retail RRP levels starting at Euro 40,00 and with limited edition lines such as the Sao Can 20 year reserve retailing at Euro 90,00.

ERC Sun Spirits have already seen success within travel retail with the announcement that Sao can 20 has been short listed for the “Star Spirits product of the year” at the prestigious travel retail Frontier awards due to be held in Cannes 5th October 2022.
ERC Sun Spirits will have representation in Cannes, France during the TFWA World Exhibition and Conference (2nd – 6th October 2022) and are currently discussing availability during the MEADFA a month later in The Kingdom of Bahrain.
